Sophia Geffen, MPH
Sophia Geffen (she/her) is a public health researcher/advocate passionate about the intersections of sexual health, mental health, and health equity. She received her BA in Public Policy Analysis from Pomona College and her MPH from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Sophia brings over 8 years of experience in HIV prevention, LGBTQ health, and adolescent health – most recently managing an adolescent HIV prevention research project at Fenway Health. Sophia believes in and advocates for the importance of anti-oppressive, anti-racist public health research, education, and practice through the Campaign Against Racism and the development of social justice pedagogy for health education.
