Cassandra Fox, FNP-C

Cassandra is a nurse practitioner with a focus on HIV and infectious diseases at the Zinberg Clinic at Cambridge Health Alliance, and a staff nurse on the Trauma and Dissociative Disorders unit at McLean Hospital. She currently works with CHEEA as a Co-Director of the Interprofessional Health Equity Course, and as a supporting member of the Climate Health Organizing Fellowship. Prior to these roles, she served as the Executive Officer and Programs Officer at EqualHealth, a nonprofit organization dedicated to social medicine education and continuing medical and nursing education for health professionals around the world. Additionally, she was involved as a founding member and administrator of the Social Medicine Consortium, a global network of health professionals engaged in advocacy work around the social and structural roots of disease. 

Cassandra is passionate about the intersection of mental and physical health, particularly as they relate to health equity and justice. She is a founder and co-facilitator of the Cambridge Women's Center Trauma Support Group, a free group for community-based mental health support, which she has been engaged with since 2015.
